I have no interest with cars, and I never had plans of buying, maybe because I don’t know how to drive, and I’m scared to learn. But things have changed when I got addicted to a US TV series called, Supernatural! The main characters in this show are The Winchester brothers, Dean and Sam. They have an odd job – they annihilate evil spirits, demons and creatures of the dark just to save their loved ones and other people they don’t even know.

Dean Winchester’s best accessory in the show is his 1967 Chevy Impala, passed down to him by his father. If you will open the trunk, you will definitely know that this is not an ordinary muscle car. Inside the car’s trunk is a huge collection of weaponry to fight the unknown! The Impala has been the witness to all their heroic actions, it’s their savior and their best buddy.

What if I buy an Impala? Can I take good care of it? I have no knowledge about car engine, car maintenance and even driving! But I will protect my Impala, for the love of Supernatural, I will do my best! Hahaha But, I have to start saving now or else my Impala will just be passed down to my grandchildren, lol.

Every person, young or old, loves to attend celebrations. This is a good time where strangers, friends, loved ones and families join together to celebrate a particular event. It doesn’t matter what event it is, whether it is a concert, birthday bash, weddings, conventions and many more. We make sure that every event will sound, look, feel, taste perfectly and extra special because this is a time we want to remember with utmost happiness.

We have to plan everything but when the big day comes, we simply cannot control everything. Sure we can handle a few adjustments, but when a lot of different people are involved, unexpected things can happen. If you are only expecting family and close friends, people you really know, that would be easy to handle, but what if you are dealing with an army of different guests? So it is very important to consider crowd control measures, even a perfectly planned event needs one. Crowd control is the process of managing and organizing a large group of people to maintain order.

There are crowd control tools that you can use, such as stanchions, barricades, fences,velvet rope to secure the borderline of your event and help people to stay in line. But it’s not all about the tools you use, crowd control is all about effectively directing people without having to use any force. Therefore, in planning your event you must always include crowd control to avoid a possible chaos and to keep everything run smoothly.

Tayfarer for Christmas

Hello everyone! There are only 5 days to go before Christmas! Yay! My shopping list is not yet finish, I still have to visit the crazy bazaars. But I’m very much happy because finally I got my Shout It Out Sunglasses from Hanson.net!!! Woohooo! 3 months ago, we ordered lots of Hanson goodies, together with my sister and a Hanson buddy. These sunglasses are inspired by the Thinking ‘Bout Somethin video, where Taylor wears a Ray-Ban 2132 Wayfarer.

HANSON is printed on the both sides of the sunglasses, and on the front right lens. It also has a very nice Tayfarer box, which I will preserve until eternity, lol. The lenses are very dark, and I was joking to my sister that Taylor wants the fans to feel his role in the TBS video, lol. If you’re not a Hanson fan, you won’t get what I’m saying here, unless you want to google it, lol. The lenses have a UV 400 protection.

Scrubs That Have A Heart

A couple of weeks ago, my boyfriend and I went to St. Luke’s Hospital Global City to have my cysts checked. It was my first time there, and the hospital looks neat and great. As we were waiting for the doctor to arrive, I was so bored that I just checked every passing nurses. One nurse caught my attention because she’s wearing a very cute uniform. When I got home, I immediately searched for medical uniforms. I found out, they are called scrubs, remember the hit TV series with the same name?

I searched for scrub tops, and stumbled upon this great site, Blue Sky Scrubs. The site offers a wide range of scrub clothing, for men and women. They also got those cute scrub hats and earring collections! The good thing is, their products are very stylish but cheap and affordable. It’s lunch already, but I just had my breakfast, lol. I got excited when I saw Pinoy Tasty on our dining table! WOW!

But because of the crazy price inflation of dairy products and ingredients for bread making, many Filipinos today can’t afford to buy tasty bread. Tasty bread’s price ranges from Php40-60! But in cooperation with Philippine Federation of Bakeries Association Inc. (PFBAI), Filipino-Chinese Bakeries Association Inc. (FCBAI) Philippine Baking Industry Group (PhilBaking) and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) they have come up with a cheaper but nutritious kind of tasty bread, for only 36 pesos!

Today is October 10, 2010! That’s 10-10-10. This maybe a special day because it won’t happen again for 1000 years, very cool. I will list the things I did today so I will not forget what happened on this once in a lifetime day

We went to church to hear the 6:30 mass
My breakfast was Yakisoba, Spicy Chicken
I did the laundry.
Checked my gmail, google reader and facebook
Slept for 1 hour before lunch
Our lunch was Fish with camote tops.
Watched Party Pilipinas
Set up the Christmas tree
Pampered my mom with manicure and pedicure, she was very happy, lol
Did my own nails, I tried the gradient effect I saw in a tutorial.
Our dinner was pork with mixed vegetables
And now I’m blogging. lol

Evil Drivers Belong To Hell

Throughout my bus riding years (since my college days) I had never experienced an accident, not until last Monday. I was about to get off the bus (SM Megamall) when suddenly the driver stepped hard on the breaks, sending me rolling on the floor and reached the steps of the stairs. The bus conductor helped me to get up, because I couldn’t manage to get up by myself. I was very disheartened with the driver’s rude remarks, “Tumayo ka kasi.” That was very inhumane and insulting. I can never forget his facial reaction, it was degrading and heartless. Or maybe, his face is really like that. I know it was an accident, and I’m not blaming him for stepping on the breaks, but the least he could have done was show some compassion and respect. He didn’t even bother to get out of his seat to help me, but waited for the conductor who was at the back. Have you ever had that feeling like the world has crashed on you and no one cares? That’s exactly what I’ve felt at that very moment! And I really won’t mind if he hugs me just to make me feel better, anything that can make me feel that I will be okay.

The bus driver and the conductor didn’t even ask me if I was alright or if I needed medical attention. Then I realized there’s no way to go but get out of the bus. I picked up my sandals and fixed my hair. At this point, I was still in shock. I was about to text my boyfriend, but luckily I already saw him walking towards me. And then I cried to him, this made my chest totally relieved. To cut it short, we filed a half-day leave at work and went to Medical City, Emergency Room. God Bless the doctors and nurses there, they were extremely nice.

That same day, we filed a complaint against the driver. I searched for Worthy/HM Transport’s office number, but no one answers the phone. So we went straight to their bus terminal, in Pacita 1 infront of Super Mightee (Meaty) Mart. I talked to their dispatcher and officer in charge, and they were very cooperative. They promised that they will pay for my medical expenses and the driver will be subjected to disciplinary actions. Yes, I want him to be suspended, but I doubt it, they can just put him in another bus time. WHO CARES!

I started this day with a sweaty workout, care of Hip Hop Abs. My favorite routine is the Abs Sculpt. I also like doing the Fat Burning Cardio, but I don’t want my now-flabby-body to get excited by doing this routine though. Then, I spend the rest of the afternoon in front of my computer. upgrading my WordPress: from 2.7.1 to 3.0.1. The new version is impressive, and I like it so much, upgrade now! I also checked some latest WordPress themes and found this cool theme: Furvious. It’s for free! I tested it here, and I’m liking it so much, but I have to fix some little problems before I totally use it. The Bibi is so busy, and the Laarnaay is fed up with my unending wp upgrading questions. Poor me.

But, NO! Lucky me, I have here a Korean instant noodle, SUPER hot and spicy! HIHIHI.

I have an upcoming website, and I’m very excited with this one. I just bought the domain name last night. Lots of brainstorming happened prior to the purchase, and I’m very happy with the outcome. If there’s a blog site I want for the rest of my life, this would be it. But of course, Minolah.com will always have a special place in my heart I will do my best to maintain these two sites, please wish me luck
