Aside from the pandesal, tasty bread is the favorite bread of Filipinos. But because of the crazy price inflation of dairy products and ingredients for bread making, many Filipinos today can’t afford to buy tasty bread. Tasty bread’s price ranges from Php40-60! But in cooperation with Philippine Federation of Bakeries Association Inc. (PFBAI), Filipino-Chinese Bakeries Association Inc. (FCBAI) Philippine Baking Industry Group (PhilBaking) and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) they have come up with a cheaper but nutritious kind of tasty bread, for only 36 pesos!
Pinoy Tasty’s ingredients are:
- Enriched Wheat Flour
- Washed Sugar
- Vegetable or Palm Shortening
- Iodized salt
- Calcium Propionate
- Improver
